june weekender + demo re-press + general update.

there's so much to talk about! first off: we've got a southern ontario weekender planned for mid-june (not even 3 weeks from now) with our buds from early heaven (ex-karloff, focus fires) + wolf fang fist (ex-nanette, kai's old band)—we'll be hitting waterloo, toronto & hamilton with scabs off, boreal anomaly & camaro helping out along the way.

secondly, we've got another cassette press of it's more like embracing available via our bandcamp + the maraming records store right now. we sold the first 10 copies at our killroom show in april with just a xerox'd cover, but the rest of the edition comes complete with risograph-printed j-cards + inserts (courtesy of the mighty vide press) in addition to a nifty new lyric sheet we wrote on an actual typewriter.

for our money, this is probably the best version yet. we're not sure how many more times we're gonna make these, so if you're wanting a copy, now's your best bet.

on the topic of scarcity: now that we're out of shirts, we figured we'd make a new run with a new design, which you can check out below (hopefully they'll be in by our next show).

lastly: we recorded the bulk of a new song the other night that'll be out on a comp later this summer, and you'll all be the first to hear about it when the time comes. unfortunately, our covid luck during recording continues its negative trajectory, as toast's roommate tested positive the morning after (fingers crossed it doesn't spread)... 

oh, and we bought a subaru (photos soon-ish). r.i.p. the divorcemobile, long live the boxxcar. talk soon. <3
