in spite of the boxxcar's recent failure, we managed to pull through another weekend of gigs without much friction. our endless gratitude goes out to everybody that contributed to our gofundme campaign: we truly owe you everything, and we can't fully express how much it means to us to feel that love & support from our community. toast's mechanic quoted 5k for an engine rebuild & 8k+ for a complete replacement, so right now it's looking like we've gotta scrap the whole thing entirely in exchange for 1k that we'll put towards a new car later down the line. everything we received through the campaign will go towards saving for the new car/paying off the debt incurred during the boxxcar's initial purchase. another one gone to the farm upstate... </3

money aside, life ain't all that bad. thank you to the whinerack as always for hosting the "secret" show—we love you, chris!

as well, thank you to the folks at the golden apple for having us in their home; it was only their second show ever, and their first with bands from outside of kitchener (apologies for loitering so long after)! that was maybe our favourite set we've played so far—shouts to everyone that came and helped make it such a perfect night.
